Gluten free, paleo dieting, vegan, vegetarian, high-carb, low-carb, fasting, juice cleanse, detoxing, refined sugar-free…. The list goes on, but what are they all about?

In my new weekly series (coming out each Friday) I will be taking an in-depth look at the most popular eating and dieting habits of our generation and we might even take a step back in time and see what people have done over the centuries to try to stay healthy.

There is no doubt that people now are the most health conscious they have ever been. With the introduction of the internet and scientific research improving every day, we are now able to identify and discredit many ways in which we can all lead a healthier life.

I will encourage my fellow food bloggers to submit their own thoughts on the matter too, so we can create a healthy discussion about health and food!
